The plan is to sell and develop the land in the foreground. Possibly erasing the old road to Camden Park Estate - still visible near the first fence.

Not the first time. In 1972/73 the Churchwardens wanted to build 27 town houses around St John's. The Church secured a rezoning from the State Government and support from Camden Council. It took members of the community and like of Ald Elizabeth Kernohan to stop the development. We can do it again; we can stop the overdevelopment and destruction of our heritage.
